Screenplay Competition Reading

The Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC introduced a short screenplay competition for the 2012 festival. Nine short screenplays competed for awards in the categories of Best Drama and Best Comedy. Each of the screenplays received a staged reading at the Main Stage Theater at The People's Improv Theater (The P.I.T.) in NYC on November 4, 2012.

Congratulations to the winners:
Best Screenplay (Drama): The Crib, written by Samuel Laskey.
Best Screenplay (Comedy): Maggie and the Bandits, written by Chris Svehla.
